Founded by Christian Baert in 2016, Baert Gallery reflects the dynamic contemporary landscape of Los Angeles while fostering dialogue with artists from around the world. The gallery works with a range of emerging to mid-career artists with the focus of providing a platform for complex, intellectually rigorous, and formally challenging practices at its space in Downtown Los Angeles. The gallery is committed to providing studio and production support to its artists in order to foster their innovative ideas and creativity, including artist publications and regular live performances. Located in a historic warehouse, Baert Gallery provides an ideal backdrop to present artworks across media, including installation, sculpture, painting, video, and performance.
